Signs and Symptoms of Stroke

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms,
CALL “911” IMMEDIATELY. STROKE IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY!

Quick response to stroke aids in reducing disability by restoring blood and oxygen to the brain.

 Stroke’s Warning Signs

  • Sudden numbness, weakness, or paralysis of the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body
  • Sudden confusion, loss of speech or loss of understanding
  • Sudden trouble seeing or loss of vision in one or both eyes
  • Sudden dizziness or loss of balance
  • Sudden severe headache that has no known cause

 Stroke is a medical emergency!
